Jenny Silver is a Swedish singer. She was formerly known as Jenny Ohlund and fronted a dance act called Candela. Candela’s music can be described as “middle-of-the-road” country with Swedish lyrics.
Candela was extremely popular in Sweden, mainly with the “ballroom dancing” crowd. Jenny changed her name when she got married . With the name change came a shift in her music. She is now the lead singer of the group Holden. Holden has toured the US but received lukewarm reviews there. Jenny has worked with other Swedish artists, such as TOTTA NASLUND and Asa Jinder. She is well respected and landed the part of Mary Magdalene in Jesus Christ Superstar recently. |
