Born James Francis Gnecco III (September 30, 1973) in Teaneck, New Jersey, Jimmy Gnecco is the vocalist and guitarist for alternative rock band Ours.
Jimmy has three older sisters, two younger brothers and was raised by both parents. He has two children.
Jimmy has had little to no formal vocal training because he couldn’t afford it. He encourages bootlegging as a way to build a musical community. Jimmy Gnecco is vegan, an avid runner and a huge fan of U2. His favorite album is Achtung Baby. Before forming Ours, Jimmy sang as a part of “Lost Child” and “The Harmony Bandits.”
