Jon Bon Jovi (born John Francis Bongiovi on March 2, 1962) is the lead singer of the highly successful rock band Bon Jovi. His debut song was Runaway which was recorded in New Jersey. Jon has released two solo albums. Blaze of Glory in 1990 (a number 1 hit in the USA) and Destination Anywhere in 1997. Jon is also known as an actor. He played a role in several movies, such as U-571 and Los Muertos, he has also had roles in Ally McBeal and Sex in the City. In 2004, he became founder and primary owner of the Philadelphia Soul of the Arena Football League with fellow band member Richie Sambora. He loves cars and sports. He has four children and is married to his childhood sweetheart Dorethea. Bon Jovi as a band have sold more than 100,000,000 CD’s worldwide.
