1) Jonas was a german rock band from bad bentheim which was active between 1999 and 2001. Members included Mathias Exler, Jan vanTriest, Ole Petras and Sebastian Fremder. They released two full albums, “September Sex Relationship” and “Sorry, I’m sorry, sorry”. Two of the band members later played in Union Youth. 2) Jonas is a Danish Soul artist who started playing music at an early age. After having played in numerous bands during his teenage years, Jonas formed the soul band Jonz with 4 other talented musicians. After only 3 gigs, the band got signed to a worldwide deal with Sony Music. This lead to a tight working relationship with manager Keith Harris (Stevie Wonder, Omar, Lynden David Hall) and producer Pete Smith (Randy Crawford, Joe Cocker, Sting) making the critically acclaimed debut album “Where It’s At”. The single “Sleeping” was #1 on the national Danish airplay chart, and made waves in various parts of the world. Even Stevie Wonder was caught humming one of Jonas’ songs, and said “when can I get my copy of the album?” After a couple of years Jonas parted ways with Jonz, and has since then been working on his own solo material. Besides this, he has been involved in countless projects on the side with other musicians, producers and songwriters all over the world. A.o. writing songs with the late Lynden David Hall; co-fronting the 17 piece soul collective Nu Soul Connexion; working as vocal-producer on many Danish albums. 3) Jonas Čepulis lithuanian singer, is well known in Lithuania as paticipant of TV music reality show “Dangus”. The group was comprised of Jonas Tomalty, Corey Diabo, Ange Curcio, and Domenic Romenelli. Blues/rock n roll is the genre best used to describe their music. 6) Jonas, a punk / rock trio from Wolverhampton in the UK. They released 2 albums in the mid-late 90’s on the Revolver label. Their debut album “cyclosporin” was well received by the metal press (Kerrang KKKK) and saw them tour the UK extensively. However subsequent releases were not as popular and despite a large live following the band split in 2000. 7) Jonas, born in 1992, is a rapper from Soest, which is a small town near Dortmund in Germany.
