Junkies is a punk rock band formed in Budapest, Hungary in 1992, best known for being one of the most distinctive and influential bands of the country. The original line-up consisted of members of the band Jack Daniel’s. After the band had split-up, Somogyi Csaba tried to resuscitate the band by teaming up with Barbaró Attila, Csordás Tibor and Jódli which resulted in record their first tape, entitled Rock&Roll. Some line-up changes followed, and they changed their name to Junkies consequently.
