In fact, she’s never known anything else. From a young child staging impromptu performances for family and friends in her living room to a contestant on the world’s most popular singing competition, Malloy’s dream of musical stardom is quickly being realized. Growing up in Houston, TX, Malloy expressed her desire to be on stage from an early age. She credits her determination to pursue this to the full support of her family. While her parents never pushed her (her Mom always wanted her to be a nurse) they were always there, while her brother, who also sang, was a source of inspiration musically.
