Kauko “Kake” Randelin (born January 26. 1955 in Mäntyharju, Finland) is a finnish hit-singer.|Kake nearly took part in the Syksyn sävel -contest in 1979, but got into Syksyn Sävelen karsitut (“left-overs”) tv-show.|He’s most famous for songs like “Kirje kotiin”, “Tilipäivä Koittaa”, “Avaa Hakas” and “Tarja”. Kake was very popular during the 80’s, and he has managed to keep his popularity amongst his fans. Many times catchy and naive lyrics (nasta pimu, olet sinä) have turned into a 50-year old man’s grown-up lyrics. Nowadays Kake’s hits from the 80’s are considered mostly as camp - like so many other hits from that decade. |
