‘King Sigh’ is a Belgian band, based in the small village of Scherpenheuvel. |When drummer Koen Muylaert left the band, Peter Laermans & Zowie Vangeel decided to change tactics and started some homerecording, an endless process which resulted in the self-released album ‘Entering’ (2009). |Drummer Koen rejoined the band, this time to play the guitar… And together with drummer Tim Haesevoets, these guys are about to do some damage!
The sound of King Sigh is difficult to locate in genre(s)… Experts say the music balances somewhere in between Jean Michel Jarre, Sigur Rós and firm, though spacey rock, while others don’t hesitate to involve terms like ‘instrumental, filmic & (neo)postrock’…
