The three girls have cracked the mould, with their ‘tongue in chic’ pop music & they deliver both sonically and visually. This is a brilliant debut, drawing from influences as wide reaching as Grace Jones, Eurythmics & Tom Tom Club.
They are from London & it all started when Mima (singer) was offered a gig & needed a band. As they were all hanging out listening to crystalline pop & vintage drum machines it was the perfect moment for Mima to ask the girls to join her - so it began - Kish Mauve was born!
Miranda’s seductive bass lines, tom tom love from Gemma & Mima’s neon vocals have created a distinct sound. Toni is their regular sound engineer. |
