Titularly not a single artist or what could be described as a “band”, this is a collaboration of three of Scotland’s top musicians.
The poetic vocals and song writing prowess of Scottish rockers Idlewild’s front man, Roddy Woomble combines with acclaimed folk musician Kris Drever and superlative fiddle player and fellow folkster John McCusker.
Having appeared on several mixes and other collaborations with other artists individually the three chose to work together to produce their “début” album “Before the Ruin” released in September 2008. |
