“I’ve been playing guitar since I was 12. Went to South Plains College Music School for three semesters and was lucky enough to study guitar under John Hartin who taught me much. I fronted the house band at the Blue Light on Buddy Holly Ave. in Lubbock while I was attending South Plains. I landed a job playing lead guitar with Mark David Manders just as he was releasing Chili Pepper Sunset. Moved to Denton to play with Manders band, finished my degree at North Texas. Played with Manders until 2005. Joined up with Hayes Carll just as he was releasing Little Rock. Toured the world with him for three years until he moved to Austin. Since then, I’ve been playing with The Gougers. I’ve also toured with Joy Lynn White and Mark Germino, and have been playing with Mike Stinson and Jubal Lee Young on their Texas shows. Also play occasionally with Teresa Kolo and Lise Liddell. Studio work with Manders, Chris King, Jon Wolfe.” |
