Lucie Kralova a.k.a. LayDee Jane was born in the Czech Republic. Ever since she was a child, she had a feel for music. She attended art schools that specialized in dance, singing and piano play.|This experience was crucial for the future development of her love for music.|In 1999 she moved to Switzerland, where she performed as a DJ for the very first time on a larger event. There she was introduced to trance, a modern dance music style which captivated her.|LayDee Jane was further developing her skills and talent by playing in local clubs and large indoor parties, and fairly soon she became one of the favorite Swiss female djs.|She was praised by the audience and industry professionals for her energetic style. Her innovative sets gave LayDee Jane status of a pioneer in the field of trance music - she is always bringing new trends and different approach into her performances. Throughout time, LayDee Jane has ascended all the way to the top of the charts. Her sets were a huge success in the whole Europe, Asia and Africa. She bedazzled audience of some large festivals (such as Creamfields in the Czech Republic, Streetparade in Switzerland, or FFWD Dance Parade in Holland) by conjuring up a magical atmosphere.|At the same time she regularly performed at Mallorca’s clubs (like BCM, Riu Palace, and others), and for one year she was a resident of the legendary Monte Cristo Club in France. At the present time, LayDee Jane holds several residencies. For a sixth year she has a popular resident night at the respected Swiss club MAD. She is also resident of a few Czech clubs and her regular nights are popular in Poland and Turkey.|Her performances have always a unique atmosphere, and the audience accepts them with sheer enthusiasm. LayDee Jane combines different styles of music which resonate with her artistic taste. She fancies tech-trance with electro and tech-house influences.|LayDee Jane’s name was on the line-ups with many recognized djs, such as Paul Oakenfold, Sasha, Judge Jules, Marco V, Ferry Corsten, Paul van Dyk, Eddie Halliwell, Svenson, Johan Gielen, Randy Katana, Armin van Buuren, Fred Baker, and many others.|Many times she has played alongside of Tiesto, including his historic first performance in the Czech Republic. Beside djing LayDee Jane is also a producer of her own music. She released five singles, including the last and most successful “Titan-ic”. It is an original track with metallic sound and industrial feel, and it became favored by many world-class djs. Czech music magazine XMAG gave it a superlative review.|LayDee Jane also got a chance to mix CD compilations, such as “Sonic 5” (made for the party of the same name in Switzerland), compilation “Trance Escape” (for Radio Couleur 3), or “Eurogroove” which represents Lucia’s individual groove sound. At the present time, LayDee Jane works on new production in co-operation with world2media and rms records. According to “The DJ List”, LayDee Jane was among the 30 best trance djs in the world in the year 2006.
