Obscure psychedelic folk singer Linda Perhacs released her only album, “Parallelograms,” in 1970 to scant notice or sales. It was rediscovered with new weird america and the revival of psych folk. Consequently, it was expanded and re-released in 2005. After 25 years away from the music industry (many spent as dental technician), Perhacs is currently working on her second album. New Weird America songwriter Devendra Banhart collaborated with her in the creation of his song Freely. He is reportedly working with her on her new album. |
