Lorena Gomez Pérez (born April 12 1986) is a spanish pop singer, known artistically as “Lorena”
Lorena was the winner of the fifth series of spanish talent show, Operación Triunfo, a similar format to that of X-Factor/American Idol. In 2007, she released her debut album, ‘’Lorena’’ under Sony BMG. In 2008, she released her sophomore album, “De Pelicula”. Her song entitled “Amor Magico” (a modern R&B Ballad with a required set of vocal pipes!) competed in the pre-selection to the spanish entry in the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest. She finished 3rd overall after what was considered to be a very strong year for Spain song-wise. Her third studio album is set to be released in the summer of 2010. |
