Grime artist from Luton, England. Low Deep has produced beats from a young age. Critics find it hard to define his style of music, as he takes influence from many genres including Hip-Hop, RnB and Rock. Broke into the scene as a 17 year-old with his beat ‘Straight Flush’, which started from 8 bars he made as part of a producer challenge on the RWD Forum. The ‘Straight Flush’ vinyl went on to sell over 2000 copies on the label he had just previously signed to, Colourful State Records. Known for the various musical influences in his tracks, from RnB, rock and classical music, his beats have featured on BBC programme Top Gear and 2007 film ‘Mr. Lonely’, with ‘So Right Now’ featuring on the Lord Of The Mics 2 DVD. Also, his beat ‘Get Set’, which featured on his instrumental mixtape, was vocalled by Kano, Ghetto, Demon, Big Seac and Doctor and was a B-Side to Kano’s track ‘Nite Nite’, released on 679 Recordings. Low Deep has a debut album due for imminent release, which is to be entitled Unsung. It should be available from 15 September 2008. |
