“I Try” was their first foray into the world of dance music that accounts for the truly fresh take on club music they have devised. The track debuted at 1 on the Billboard Hot Dance Breakouts chart in May of 2003 and continued to chart on the top 50 for 26 weeks, making it the longest charting track of the year for club play. “I Try” charting worldwide for both club and radio play and was heavily supported by international DJs like Paul Oakenfold, Sasha & Digweed, Pete Tong and Steve Lawler. This track was introduced by Peter Rauhofer on Live@Roxy2 CD and was featured on Ministry Of Sound Annual 2004, alongside 15 other compilations throughout that same year. In 2009, the monkeys are back in full swing now and have signed their latest single to long established NY label Kult Records. May 5th/2009 their new single “I Think of You” was released, remixed by several international producers & DJs including Oscar G, Rui da Silva, Pablo Ceballos, DJ Salvatore, Timothy Allen, Gabriel Robella and more… Indeed, the monkeys have taken over the zoo… They have a live explosive performance much like Daft Punk, and the Chemical Brothers that must be seen. |
