Whilst remaining the only artists to have polled at number one in the Dutch DJ Charts with almost every single release, Mark Norman also remain one of only a select number of artists commissioned to mix the globally renowned ‘In Trance We Trust’ series. Ever growing in popularity, Mark Norman collect The Frysian Pop Award in Holland for services to Dance Music, They teamed up with an classical orchestra and did an unique project and currently they are producing some tracks for the debut album of Jes known from Motorcycle (As the rush comes). Behind the decks their unique driving sound, with influences from diverse scenes, provides an energetic and emotional atmosphere which has seen them rock the worlds leading festivals and events with performances at the legendary Trance Energy, Dance Valley, Mysteryland and Summer Dance festivals in Holland along with all the major clubs and prolific UK events including Goodgreef, Cream, Passion and Gatecrasher. Further a field Mark Norman have taken to the skies with performances in Australia, Canada, China, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Germany, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Lebanon, South Africa, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey,USA and many more and selected dates at Cream’s legendary Ibiza parties. By spending their talents in the studio, 2006 saw the release of their first artist album ‘Synchronicity’ which was received very well by international press. There world tour ‘80days around the world, was named as one of the most unique concepts of 2006 by Holland’s most leading magazines, and to top this off, the duo also played together with Enrique Iglesias at the famous Nikki Beach in St Barth’s! 2007 has seen them continue there onslaught of the UK with re-appearances at superclubs Slinky, Goodgreef, Lush and Letrik to name but a few, and stunning performances around the world at some of the biggest parties including On Broadway in San Diego, Dooms night in Vancouver, and the infamous Zouk in Singapore! On top of there ever growing schedule, 2007 has also seen Mark Norman finish their 2nd artist album, collaborating with Jes from Motorcycle, Celine Frewer and other musicians to optimize their sound. The album named ‘Colours’, is a reflection of their experiences in the past, present and future and show their diversity and love for the electronic music. The first release from the forthcoming album ‘Colour my Eyes’ has already been a massive success, so together with the floor filler ‘Blikken Machine’ you can expect nothing short of a cutting edge Mark Norman sound. To celebrate the release of their fantastic new album, Mark Norman’s management ‘ Global Twist Music’ is preparing a grand world tour, supported by V Media Creative, alongside one of the biggest electronic dance labels ‘Black Hole Recordings’.
