Here Medway teams up with newcomer to the scene Sven Hauck, commencing this project in 2006 at Jesse’s own Studio in Orlando, Florida, with their first collaborative effort Amonamen released on Influx Audio in 2007. One of the remixes caught the ear of one John Digweed, who played it during one of his Kiss 100 radio broadcasts. Both Jesse and Sven decided that a change of scenery was in order so they both relocated to Holland - Jesse to The Hague and Sven to Amsterdam. Shortly thereafter they were approached by the Dutch label GrooveCollection Records for their second track, Heliopause, which received support from the southern hemisphere in the form of Hernan Cattaneo. Heliopause was featured on Hernan’s radio show Metrodance 95.1 FM, and John Digweed again played one of the remixes but this time on the German broadcast Plattenleger. In 2008 their third effort, No Step, came shortly thereafter released through Dutchie Music based out of Miami. Then keeping with the spirit of international releases, Division and Something Dark were picked up by the United Kingdom’s Baroque Records. The vinyl version of Division ranked as a top seller on Juno and is still making the rounds today. Both of their official sites are listed below: www.medwaystudios.com|www.svenhauck.com| |
