Melissa McGhee was a top 12 finalist on season 5 of America’s #1 TV show American Idol. Known for her sexy, sultry vocals, Melissa sailed her way through the semi-finals, singing covers of “When The Lights Go Down”, “Why Haven’t I Heard From You”, and “What About Love”. Surpassing six other females, Melissa found herself in the final selected group of twelve where she placed 12th of thousands who aspired to be the next American Idol.
