Mike Hale is a Californian acoustic singer-songwriter, best known for his work with the bands Gunmoll and In The Red. Hale’s pensive style of drawn-back acoustic folk music is described by Hale himself as “What you would hear if you came to my door any given day of the week”.|His recordings available to date is a seven-inch split with Chris Wollard ( Hot Water Music, The Draft ,…), and two full lengths - 2008’s “Broken With No Hope” and 2009’s “Lives Like Mine”, which is available online for free under the Creative Commons license. |
