In November 2011, the band annouced on their Facebook page:|“…MiMi Soya is no more. But myself, Mike and Sam and our new guitarist ‘Nick’ are forming something a lot more special. More honest and with more heart.|We have a new name and new songs, we are currently writing and recording demos and getting prepared for a very busy 2012.” On the 1st February 2012 the band announced their new band Fairfield. With Jorja & Mike from MiMi Soya, and Sam & Nick from Exit Venue. Formed whilst all living in Brighton, in 2008 they were signed to LAB Records (Pegasus Bridge, Not Advised) and it was all up from there. Just 4 day after finding their front woman Jorja, the band then went on a successful ten-date UK tour with other LAB acts.
