Mum Smokes was the short lived band of Julian Patterson, Jonathan Michell, Karl Scullin (Kes) of Kes Band and Justin Kent Fuller, from Melbourne, Australia. Formed in 2006, they released two albums. After a break for most of 2006, in February 2007 Mum Smokes returned to the stages of Melbourne to prepare for a CD launch and for a European tour that begun with a show at the Dirty Three curated ATP in Somerset. While they were not a regular fixture of the gig guides of Melbourne over this time, they did play sporadically, with local luminaries including: Sir, Crayon Fields, Food Group, Witch Hats, Love of Diagrams, Kiosk and the Dirty Three. A double album, Easy / House Music, was released in 2009.| |
