Murat Boz became famous with his first-ever single Aski bulamam ben/I can’t find love(2006). He has been working hard for years now to finally achieve every singer’s dream: the recognition of the public. Before toping the charts, Murat Boz used to be Tarkan’s vocalist, from whom he says to have learned much - which may partially explain his music, dance and dressing style. He’s been even chosen by Shakira as one of her backing vocals during her tour in Turkey. His album Maximum(2006) has everything it needs to become a great success, and to be sold in many many copies. He released single titled Uçurum in 2008 and after it 2nd album, also in 2008, titled Şans.

Murat Boz was born in Karadeniz Eregli town, province of Zonguldak(Turkey) in Black Sea region in 07.03.1980, hence his star sign is pisces. He went to primary and secondary school in Zonguldak, then in 95-96’s he attended a fine art oriented high school in Istanbul. At that time he persued his musycal career at various music halls as a vocalist. In 1998 he became the first runner up as the male vocalist in a contest for high school students organized by Milliyet(A Turkish national newspaper). In 1999 he graduated Bilgi University Jazz vocalist department. He’s continuing his education at Istanbul Technical University Turkish Classical Music conservatory since 2003.|He likes singing, sport, swimming and animals. |
