Paige Jasmine Miles (born September 26, 1985) is an American singer from Naples, Florida, who was the eleventh place finalist on the ninth season of American Idol.|Born on September 26, 1985,[1] Paige Jasmine Miles is a daughter of a single mother from Naples, Florida. Her father passed away when she was four years old. Her father was an African American. She began singing at church. Miles is an avid colorist and loves to color hippos in coloring books.[2][3] An alumni of Community School of Naples, Miles performed in her high school’s rendition of The 1940’s Radio Hour,[4] playing the role of Geneva Lee Browne.[5] Her musical influences include Patti LaBelle, Lauryn Hill, Christina Aguilera, Celine Dion, Etta James, and most of all Michael Jackson. Among the finalists, Miles is one of the closest friends of Lacey Brown, together with Lee DeWyze.
