post50UND is a project that stems from a neverending desire to feed people’s ears with tasty, high quality electro and electronica. Born in 2005 in the head of a Polish graphic designer, DJ and vocalist living in Scotland - Kajetan ‘Ki-Tech’ Lukomski, it combines humane melodies, vocals and harmonies with a bleepy, itchy, bass-filthy electro sound. After organising and playing numerous successful DJ nights in both countries (notably electroSUSHI and electroMOUSTACHE in Club NRD, PL), Ki-Tech decided to take matters (and the kitchenware) into his own hands and cook up a nice blend of his influences (including electroclash, pop, synthpop, grime, breakbeat or even metal). The project took off fully in the beginning of 2009 with the simultaneous release of a 5-track EP ‘Yes, I’m A Saint’ and the first place in muzzo.pl’s electronic contest. Joined on stage by his singing sister Verl and guitarist Filip, post50UND played alongside such artists as DJ Hell, The Whip, Zoot Woman, Moderat, Richie Hawtin and Caspa & Rusko during Audioriver Festival and followed up with club concerts. Recently, post50UND’s new single, ‘TVTVTV’ has been featured on LAIF magazine’s CD compilation. post50UND has remixed such artists as Royksopp, SomethingALaMode, Kamp!, SoundQ or Lolita & The Pussycats. Currently, after changing the name of the project to Avtomat, Ki-Tech is looking for a label interested in promoting his cooking. |
