Born and raised in St. Louis, MO, Potzee has been putting’ it down since ‘93 grindin’ with the likes of Nelly, The St. Lunatics, and Chingy. As a youngster, Potzee went to school with, played sports with, and freestyled with the then St. Lunatics (Nelly and The Lunatics) and found a best friend in Murphy Lee. Coming up, Potzee rapped with many crews but found a home with The Quor. While making a name for themselves, Potzee landed an opening act gig on the St. Lunatics College tour. On the road with Nelly, the St. Lunatics and the soon to be “Chingy” is where Potz experienced what being a true superstar is all about. Starting off as the opening act, Potzee very quickly landed a spot on stage right before the headliner. Potzee once stated, “I feel at home on stage. Interacting with the crowd and seeing the crowd react to my music is what I love the most about performing!” |
