There is irony and genre self-reference, and their songs are varied from hip-hop and dance music to the punchy, aggressive beats. They are having a great time and you are welcome to join them. The story of the band started at the begining of 1996 in the city Košice, when two members of the Dept (Ungvölgyi, Rabatin) and Viliam Lauko began rehearsing together as a band. First they were performing as a trio, then as a quartet. The material they put together during the rehearsals and their interest in experimenting and producing were synthesized and subsequently it created the characteristic sounds of the new band. Since Summer 2002 they have already played at various festivals in Slovakia and abroad as well called Puding pani Elvisovej (PPE). Later on they recorded their debut album titled “Automati”.
