In the twin worlds of tejano and norteno music, Ramon Ayala is a living legend, a man of immense talent and fortitude who has released more than 100 albums to date. Born in Monterrey Mexico, Ayala got his start in the clubs of the Tex-Mex border region. For many years, he performed with famed bajo sexto maestro, Cornelio Reyna, and the two formed the band Los Relampagos del Norte.
