Reverie Sound Revue is tagged as: indie, canadian, indie pop, female vocalists, indie rock Reverie Sound Revue formed in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, in January 2002. After releasing an EP in 2002, the band parted ways in 2004 to pursue other callings. Lisa Lobsinger toured as a member of Broken Social Scene, and other members of RSR earned degrees in mathematics, engineering, electronics, architecture and art. In late 2005, inspired to make the album they were unable to make while together, they began writing new songs and exchanging ideas via e-mail as members were spread between Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto and Montreal. Instruments were recorded individually during the summer of 2006 in Calgary, vocals were recorded through the winter of 2007 in Toronto, followed by a patient year of details, layers and mixes. The result is Reverie Sound Revue’s self-titled full-length debut, a collection of 11 songs to be released June 23, 2009 on Boompa Records. The band includes vocalist Lisa Lobsinger, a rhythm section of John Marcel de Waal and Bryce Gracey, Marc De Pape and Patrick Walls on guitars. Several songs off the EP have appeared in television shows, including Radio Free Roscoe and Life With Derek. www.reveriesoundrevue.net... Read More About Reverie Sound Revue Biography...
