1) Revolte are an up-and-coming feature of the so-called ‘French touch.’ They are offspring of Daft Punk and Alan Braxe, and exemplars of the new cosmopolitan nu-disco style. Arnaud is some kind of an electro-nerd by birth, who fooled around with his first synths when he was nearly eleven years old and has been happily DJ-ing ever since. Luke has a slightly different musical background. Educated in the fine arts of classic music since age six, he eventually found his way to producing electronic music. The two members have never lived in the same city and rarely work together face to face. They’re part of the Internet’s prodigy, happily file-swapping to get their music banging. They are best known for a Kitsune-commissioned remix of Kylie Minogue’s ‘Boombox’ and a dancefloor banger remix of Daft Punk’s ‘Voyager’.
