Having grown up and spent most his life based in London, Richard was able to invest a significant amount of his late teenage years and early twenties into a thriving club scene and musical background in the mid-late 90’s. During these early excursions saw Richard witness some of the most seminal club nights in dance music including performances from Erick Morillo at Peach in 1994, the Chemical Brothers at Club UK, Carl Cox & Laurent Garnier at Tribal Gatherings in 1995 and Paul Oakenfold at Cream in 1996. These influences as well as the likes of Tiesto, Ferry Corsten and more recently Eric Prydz have all played their part in developing Richard’s musical palette which started with some bedroom productions in the early noughties. Fast forward to today and Richard is as busy in the studio as he is in running SUESSE Music with the record label going from strength to strength on each release. Before setting up SUESSE Records Richard worked at some of the biggest labels in Dance music such as Positiva, Southern Fried & Incentive/Art & Craft and along the way built a DJ contact list full of the biggest names around across the globe. Having spent a couple of years establishing the SUESSE brand, Richard felt himself becoming increasingly involved in all levels of the A&R process working closely with every artist that signed a track on to the label. It wasn’t long before Richard headed back into the studio and since then he has never looked back with tastemaker support from the likes of David Guetta, Robbie Rivera, Fedde Le Grand, Bob Sinclar, Seamus Haji, Inpetto, Solarstone, Marco V, Richard Grey, Judge Jules, Way Out West, Gold Ryan plus many more.
