Ruudolf, Rudy Kulmala is a finnish hip-hop artist. He is a former member of Vähäiset Äänet and Rivot Rakit, the latter being a subgroup of the first formed to record a single album, Helleaalto. In 2001 Ruudolf won the Finnish rap championship the first time and in 2005 the second time. He went to Bible school in Norway before he released his second solo album for Monsp records “Semihot Ruudolf Megamixtape”. He became known from his first solo album on Monsp records, “Doupeimmat Jumala seivaa”(“God saves the dopest”), which is a religiously tuned rap album and which was instantly denoted as “the first finnish hip hop classic”. Before the “DJS” he has been active ever since his teens, doing both solo and group work. Some of his works include “Rääväsuu - Läski äpärä EP”, “Rudolf - 2002-2003 (‘Vaimokassu’)” and his contributions to Vähäiset äänet. |
