This project is the ultimate incarnation of Dj Selene Riot, one of the first italian Hard Dance dj, and member of Silicon Riot, the first hard house project born in italy. After several years of activity in the alternative scene, as Dj, producer, and musician, Selene decide that the time has come to release a solo project, developing a style that combines modern influences of the futurepop scene with his personal history of music: you can find influencese of old school E.B.M, electronic rock, cold wave and something taken from the rock/pop bands of the 80’s like ZZ Top, Billy Idol, Sigue Sigue Sputnik.
There’s nothing new actually, just the will to express his opinion, trying to spread the message as far as possible.
Selene started his activity in a psychedelic punk band named “Scarecrows” in 1993, then he disappeared untill 2003, when he joined the electro/death metal band Anger, as live bass guitarrist and electronic producer. Besides his activity as musician he tries to instruct the alternative scene with new sound styles like New NRG and Hardhouse, but once more he has to clash with the “mainstream”. This time the intentions are pretty clear: “I’m here as i’ve always been, listen to me, now you can understand what i wanna tell you”. |
