“Mistakes can’t hurt you. They can just cost you money.” It was these words, spoken by talented new artist Shane Piasecki’s father, that have lead him to the creation of his sophomore album, “Hunker Down in Nowhere Flatts.” The album, a mix of tastefully raw lyrics and cool vintage sound, is Shane’s first with Red Armor Records in Nashville, TN. Shane’s love of music blossomed after receiving a guitar for Christmas at the ripe age of four. The next thirteen years were spent mastering the instrument and his love of performance, which eventually led Shane to various gigs around the Toledo, Ohio area. It was through these performances, along with the help of a musician friend, that Shane was introduced to producer Chris Graham, who later produced his first album, “All for Coffee”. Shortly after the album’s release, it hit 17 on the National Chart of Independent Media and has since sold over ten thousand copies. The album’s success gave Shane the momentum needed to land opening gigs for the likes of John Mayer, Patty Griffin, Hanson, Ben Jelen, and Hootie and the Blowfish.
