Natalie Bassingthwaighte (born 1 September 1975 in Wollongong, Australia) is an Australian actress and singer, best-known for playing the role of Isabelle “Izzy” Hoyland in the soap opera Neighbours, joining the show in 2003 and exiting in 2006, and also for fronting Aussie band, Rogue Traders. ‘Don’t Give Up’ is the gorgeous Peter Gabriel and Kate Bush classic, performed by Shannon Noll and Natalie Bassingthwaighte. The duo recorded the track and shot the video last month in Sydney (Natalie says Rogue Traders drummer Cam McGinty came up with the idea for them to do the track). Released on November 25, some of the biggest names in Oz music have joined forces on the upcoming new album ‘Home: Songs Of Hope & Journey’ to raise funds and bring attention to the plight of Beyond Blue, the national initiative against depression. This is the lead track from the album, ‘Don’t Give Up’, by Shannon Noll and Natalie Bassingthwaighte and will be released as a single in mid-December. |
