Inspired by the music of such bands as Velour 100, Slowdive, the Cure, Dead Can Dance, Black Tape For a Blue Girl, Steve Roach and the Autumns, Silvercord dares to deviate from pop music culture to cross into the mind set of listeners who wish to make an aural expericence their own. Silvercord ‘s debut album hosts members from all walks of life, some of which include and opera major, a concert pianst and popular Detroit electronic artists that are part of the motor city’s electronic music hub. Along with two independent releases, Silvercord single “My Bride of Night” was showcased on the Detroit Electronic Coalition’s 2001 release: D[elEcTROnIc]t2. The 2nd Silvercord release, “Bioluminescence” is more of a thorough darkambient/ethereal experience.
