SMKA productions was formed in August 2008 and is composed of Atlanta native producer Blake “808 Blake” German, engineer/producer Kyle “7King” King, and business manager Mike Walberg. The 808 Experiment: Vol 1 is a free compilation album available online and at retail locations around Atlanta. The 808 Experiment is a series of free albums produced by 808 Blake & 7King of SMKA Productions that showcases hip-hop, R&B and pop artists from Atlanta and across the US.
In addition to The 808 Experiment series we are currently collaborating with several artists on their own projects and are always looking to work with talented artists. We enjoy the process of creating a diverse range of music that incorporates and encompasses sounds from all genres. SMKA does everything including music events, composition, production, engineering and mixing… and we sell beats.
