Step Up 2 the Streets is a film soundtrack from the motion picture that was released February 5, 2008 by Atlantic Records. The soundtrack debuted at number 13 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, selling about 31,000 copies in its first week. In its second chart week it managed to enter the top ten at number ten and in its third chart week came to number five. Similarly, it has also peaked at #3 on the Australian ARIA Albums Chart.
Step Up 2 the Streets is the 2008 sequel to the 2006 movie Step Up. In the soundtrack of the movie are included 16 songs. It’s the story of a rebellious street dancer named Andie, part of Baltimore’s most intimidating dance crew, the 410, who is given a chance to attend the prestigious Maryland School of the Arts, the same school that Tyler Gage attended in the first movie. |
