He had a chance to make the music of minimal funk rock come true by chance when waiting for Huckleberry Finn’s third album. As a government organization, Korea Culture Contents National Editorial Association supports the production of the Indie Rock music and Lee Ki Yong was selected. He went into production right away and after six months, presented the album ‘Sun Insane’. This album was widely supported by critics, manias and fans with great appraisal.|Lee Ki Yong wanted to present a more personal and private music than the music of Huckleberry Finn in ‘Sun Insane’.|This album has its characteristic, which shows a very lyrical sense with melancholy feel in overall. Lyrics mainly talking about personal depression and alienation were presented only through Elec guitar and vocal, Guitar and Violin and sometimes in just piano and vocal. Through these reductions in the use of instruments maximizes the sadness and private sense of the music. Discography:|Sun Insane (2004)|Aresco (2005)|It (2009) |
