Born and raised in the Washington Heights section of New York City, Dominican-American R&B/Pop singer Thalisha is blessed with a beautiful look and the talent to match.
After winning the teen segment of the world renowned “Showtime at The Apollo,” at the young age of fifteen, Thalisha quickly began recording with top producers and developing her craft.
Two years later she released her first 12” single entitled “Dancefloor.” With the successful release of “Dancefloor” Thalisha began performing and receiving media attention in the US and around the globe in countries such as Japan, France, Germany, Italy and Switzerland.
With a well developed sound and solid international fan base, Thalisha’s production company “Triple O Entertainment” recently partnered up with Japanese labels “BPM Records” and “Smile Heart Music” to release her first full length album entitled “Ear Candy” in the territory of Japan. With a brilliant team responsible for two of Japan’s most successful artists (Hikki, Sweetbox) and an album featuring production by The Heatmakerz (Jim Jones, Juelz Santana), John “Jayd” Daniels of Block Boyz Ent. (Pink, Missy), The Insomniax (Jo Jo, Bobby Valentino) and The Jettsonz (Sean Paul, Nina Sky), Thalisha’s “Ear Candy” has both the experience and flavor to satisfy listeners worldwide. |
