The Hunchback of Notre Dame is the 34th animated feature from Disney. The songs are by Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz (the same duo responsible for Disney’s Pocahontas the previous year) with a musical score composed by Alan Menken. Based on the classic novel by Victor Hugo, the film is one of the darkest in Disney’s large filmography.
