The songs are by Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz (the same duo responsible for Disney’s Pocahontas the previous year) with a musical score composed by Alan Menken. Based on the classic novel by Victor Hugo, the film is one of the darkest in Disney’s large filmography. |
