|Brian Dove and Steve Berkenkemper were introduced at a party back in the summer of 2004. They immediately started a group together with other friends (including Nick Marfing from Parade the Day) called The Thought Process. The Pilgrim’s Regress was originally their unofficial experimental project. However, after The Thought Process disbanded in the summer of 2007, Brian and Steve decided to make The Pilgrim’s Regress their main focus. They had experience playing a few mock shows together (whenever the rest of The Thought Process was unable to attend), and so they decided to jump in head first to explore unknown musical territory. The following year, they worked hard for literally the entire year, and eventually gave birth to their first album, “Awake!”. |
