Their first recording, produced by Junk Scientist (The Rakes, Larrikin Love), although not released has received national UK radio play. The Svengalis have been featured in session on Steve Lamacq’s “In New Music We Trust” show on Radio 1. They also made no.3 in Lamacq’s top 2006 demos and have featured as channel4.com/music’s artist of the week. The Svengalis released their first single under their own label “Villains & Rogues” in March 2007.
