The Bubble Bath EP on Modular Recordings is testament to what lies at the core lifestyle of The Swiss: crisp and snappy drums, quicksand laser-sludge bass, dizzy pops & flourishes, melody rays and synthesised strings that glide on the thermal currents of life. It’s as much a breathy telephone call as it is a mid-range Bordeaux shared between ensconced lovers. Beyond the raw and sensual output of the band themselves, the tracks have been remixed by international heavyweights Tensnake, The Glimmers & Knightlife. Beyond signing to Modular, lighting up the Australian festival circuit, getting “Bubble Bath” added to rotation on national radio station Triple J, supporting Ladyhawke on her Australian tour and melting the faces of thousands of party-goers on a national tour of their own, the boys were invited to the old world to spend three weeks playing to packed rooms from Glasgow to Barcelona to Paris to Amsterdam. The Swiss’ journey to the centre of 4/4 has so far not gone unnoticed. DJs, Journalists, bloggers and radio presenters are showing the three-piece glowing appreciation, but most of all the kids at the shows are going señor bananas. The stars are aligning and they play drums, bass and keys in The Swiss. Harvesting hits in the studio with unofficial fourth member & mega-producer/songwriter Donnie Sloan (Empire Of The Sun) The Swiss have a lot to live up to when hitting the stage. They deliver each and every time with a searingly hot live show known to cause profuse sweating and shaking among heaving crowds unable to keep their clothes on. “Next-big-things” - George Palathingal, Sydney Morning Herald|“Bubble Bath by The Swiss.
