1) UK band formed by guitarist Joe, who also co-runs the Angular Recording Corporation label that releases their music. Other members are Alexis (vocals), and Andrew (drums).|Influences take in everything from Patti Smith to 80’s Berlin synth groups (Malaria!, DAF), via Prag Vec, D.N.A., and the psychological horror films of Dario Argento and David Lynch.
2) Australian band (1991 - 2002), consisting of Jeremy Conlon (guitars), Matt Malik-Cahill (vocals, guitars), Gary Bowen (bass), and Peter Kershaw (drums, piano). Influences include The Church, David Sylvian, The Cure and Radiohead. Their only released album “Leased Regret” won the 1996 South Australian Music Industry album of the year. |
