The Weird Sisters is a fictional band mentioned in J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter saga. In the film version of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, they were played by Pulp’s Jarvis Cocker and Steve Mackey, Jason Buckle of All Seeing I, Steve Claydon of Add N To (X), and Radiohead’s Phil Selway and Jonny Greenwood. Cocker wrote the three songs included in the soundtrack of the film — Do the Hippogriff, This Is The Night, and Magic Works. Buckle and Cocker also worked together on their synthpunk project Relaxed Muscle. |
