- - Ventilader comes as a solid and coherent concept. They accomplish a perfect balance between traditional instruments and programming. From different corners of Mexico, this power trio begins it’s history on September of 2004, when Jorge Marrón, originally from Acapulco, meets Mercy after seeing him play the drums at a local bar of his home town in Monterrey. Both of them decide to travel to Mexico City in search of new platforms. This is the place where they find Chamin, the bass player that finally complements their sound. With their new albumápice, Ventilader delivers 9 songs that combine electronic textures with a sutil pop sensibility, coming altogether in a nostalgic tone. Their lyrics both in Spanish and English have a distinctive place in the composition, using the language’s unique phonetic qualities to deliver a message and create a new sonic atmosphere. |
