he was born in Wakayama, Japan in 1978|and raised in Matsudo, Chiba, Japan. after graduating elementary school |he moved to Los Angeles in 1990 with his family.|he started playing the clarinet there when he was 13. then he moved to Atlanta GA in 1993.|he joined the high school marching band and symphonic band. he went back to Japan in 1995.|since he got inspired by Charlie Parker, Sonny Stitt, Sonny Rollins, Hank Mobley, Art Pepper, Joshua Redman, Johny Griffin, Michael Brecker, and Stan Getz,|he started playing the alto saxophone soon after he entered Waseda University. he had been taking lessons from Yoshiyuki Yamanaka from 1997 to 2002. he went to Kunitachi Music Academy from 2002 to 2005.|plays his horn as a freelance saxophonist in Tokyo area. now he is a member of the jazz-rock band SexRex.|http://l-o-l.sakura.ne.jp/sexrex/home |
