Young T a.k.a Tavares Perkins was born and raised in San Diego California October 30, 1986. He began rapping at the age of 15 when seeing an older friend in his neighborhood by the name of Francis rapping at a birthday party. With Francis as his mentor he began rapping on a daily basis trying to find a style of his own .
Two years passed, Francis had moved and Tavares started getting better at rapping while composing his own beats. He performed his 1st show at his high school Mount Carmel high with a friend by the name of Kenneth Pride a.k.a Guilla-t. He has released 3 independent albums on a label he created with a friend named Ace a.k.a Chris Patino called “Deep Digits Entertainment” which was started in 2003. Since then he has just been doing the thing that he loves most and that’s music. |
