A Cursive Memory got its start when Colin Bayle and Shaun Profeta met at a birthday party Shaun is the brother of Hellogoodbye drummer Chris Profeta Mark Borst-Smith and Brian Bolen soon joined form a band originally called the Vagrants In the beginning the band played only covers part of their favorite bands like Blink-182 and Jimmy Eat World, but soon began writing his own music band released their debut album, Changes in Vagrant February 19, 2008
